Mistress Alys Dietsch, Baroness of the Court of Lochac, is my wife.

She joined the SCA at Rowany Festival 2004, where we met. I took her to a feast in Politarchopolis, and then she ran the third event she attended, a fine feast in Agaricus (SCA SW Sydney).

She and I jointly founded Okewaite, the SCA group at Goulburn NSW, with a couple of friends. Alys had two terms as Seneschal there, and it maintained the activity level of a small barony during that period.

Between the two of us, we have run a very large number of events there, including two Kingdom investitures. Mostly these have had Alys running the kitchen and me running the hall, but sometimes the other way around. She is the better organised of the two of us. We have at last learned to work together in the same kitchen.
