This was the third event held in Okewaite. I was Lochac Chancellor of the Exchequer at the time, and we had no offers to run the kingdom investiture event, so I said we’d do it. Thanks goodness for friends.
Okewaite had purple-and-white colours, being surrounded by Rowany (green-and-white), Torlyon (blue-and-white) and Polit (red-and-white). So we went big with purple: all the food had something purple in it.
Our mascot was a camelopard, basically a white giraffe with round purple spots. We made a two-man camelopard costume for the occasion, and it ran through the event a few times, creating havoc. The rear portion carried a water pistol, so it could widdle on attendees. Alas the costume seems not to have made it back from the event.
